Perfect guy for my daughter!

I grew up with a visualized dream of getting married to a 'Pari' as every other straight guy does. Prior to sitting in a mandap and hearing to chanting mantras recited by pandit ji, I had to climb big mountains, crawl through narrow tunnels and bump into many obstacles of life. Now after going through all this I realize the mountains weren't high but the narrow tunnel were extremely narrow and I bumped into an obstacle too big to get over. My name is Nadees Duka. I was born in a semi-orthodox Maharashtrian Hindu family, yet a modern one! I'm graduated. I pursued Bachelor In Commerce from Jashbhai Maganbhai Patel College of Commerce with average marks! Thenceforth, I do 9-5 job in a multi-national company! Fortunately, I earn better than my fellow batchmates. RS 54,000 as basic salary. Perhaps, I feel, it is good payment for a BCom graduate in his second year of service. Engineers/Doctors doesn't earn as much. It was 24th July, 2014 and I was having my lunch i...

New Day ; New Chapters

I've been read this book called "The Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. It inspires and motivates me not because I've been through the lifetime but it made lots of thoughts and things prevail in to my 2 gram brain.  The thoughts struck me weren't the unnecessary ones but those were a part of history. My history ; My past ; My life. I believe in 'Every day is a brand new day'. What happens the previous day could never repeat today. The basic life cycle like waking up in the morning, eating, dressing, college routine may remain same but in reality no day can be exactly alike the other days. We do different things, different actions, we may feel different emotions, speak different words or even a different languages. As soon as you close your eyes in the night, one chapter of your life is over. Waking up on another sunrise corresponds to completely new chapter of life. So basically nights flip chapters of our life and regulates it as demanded by ...

Tick Tock!

As we all know, time is fleet. The tick tock of the clock is one of the mutual sound we hear. You can hear the drone of the clock in midst of the darkest nights. It can never be paused, rewound, forwarded or stopped, breaking of the machine of low voltage is an exception. How much significance do we give to the 'ticking' of the clock? How can we even call it significant? We may see it as unnoticeable; put less importance into little things like the sound we hear from the clock but it gives meaning to every second, every minute or should I say every single moment we have, because “Every tick of the clock formulates history.” Well, from the very moment we came in to this chaotic world, the tick tock of the clock synchronizes with our life and things betiding upon us. There are billions of people in this world, and could you imagine that a lot of history already happened with just a single tick of a clock? It could be a history of happiness, sadness, tragedy, hatred, humiliati...
